about the author

Beth Hoffman

New York Times Bestselling Author of Saving CeeCee Honeycutt

Beth Hoffman has been writing stories since childhood, but she never dreamed that it could be more than a hobby. After many years as the president and co-owner of a successful interior design studio in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a frightening near-death experience, Beth decided it was time for a life-altering career change. Bravely, she sold her portion of the business and set to work on a novel.

Five years later, Beth’s debut novel, Saving CeeCee Honeycutt, became a New York Times bestseller and was the inaugural pick for Sam’s Club’s new national book club. It is a spirited Southern tale that explores the indomitable strengths of female relationships as a young girl loses one mother and finds many others in the storybook city of Savannah. Penguin Books will publish the paperback of Saving CeeCee Honeycutt on October 26, 2010.

Beth lives in Newport, Kentucky, with her husband and two very smart cats, in a beautiful historic home that she completely renovated.
